Milwaukee's spanning RiverWalk, located parallel to Water Street and Milwaukee River in the vibrant Westown neighborhood, includes the culture, history and food of Old World 3rd Street. Those traditions are only the beginning on this tour where Milwaukee's old German traditions meet delicious new delights!
Celebrating our 6th anniversary in 2013, we are Milwaukee's premier, original and award-winning tour company. Our tours provide the ideal combination of food, culture and history too! And, unlike many of our other tours, this route allows for shopping time - splurge along the way and buy local treasures at a cheese shop, sausage manufacturer, spice house, and more.
This tour offers authentic German food tastings as well as an opportunity to eat, drink and socialize your way into newer establishments in the area. Sample Milwaukee's oldest microbrewery complete with a visit to their Beer Memorabilia collection; schlemiel and schlimazel your way across the Milwaukee River to pay homage to The Fonz; visit one of the last historic Turner society buildings still being used for its original purpose; dine on fantastic foods and more!
